this example demonstrates how to use the

pass-through agent to remove unwanted

attributes from the preceding listener

agent

first drag the agent on the canvas link

the input endpoint to the simulated pump

data

and the output to the printer

save the data stream

and click on the agent to configure it

tick pump id and water temperature as

these are the attributes we want to

retain apply your changes

save the data stream

publish it and let's look at the live

data view

the simulated data has four attributes

and the printed results only the two

selected attributes
