Follow this step-by-step example to configure the CRC16 Function Agent in the XMPro Data Stream Designer.

crc 16 agent to append the crc16 value
of the pump's water temperature
first drag the agent onto the canvas
link the input endpoint to the pump data
and the output to the printer
rename the agent
save the data stream
and click on the agent to configure it
select water temperature for the
function
apply the changes
save the data stream
publish it
and let's look at the live data view
our crc
value column
is added to the incoming payload
