Using Site Settings in WorkFlow Designer

Accessing Site Settings

  1. Click on the Administration tab in WorkFlow Designer. The settings sections are:

    • Settings

    • Custom Settings

    • Email Settings

    • Authentication

  2. Click on the node item that you want to edit. This will display the settings in the main panel in the designer.

Add a custom setting key

  1. Click on the Administration tab in WorkFlow Designer.

  2. In the Settings section, click on the Add Custom Setting node. This will open the custom setting keys for the site as show below:

  1. Click on the Setting button at the bottom as show above.

  2. This will add a new row in the table. Capture the Name value, set the Value to N/A and the Type to Key. Click outside of the row to update the table.

  3. On the quick access toolbar, click Save icon or press CTRL+S to save your changes. The asterisk next to the tab customSettings will disappear. An asterisk indicates that the record has not been saved.

  4. The new settings will appear in the Settings section.

Add a custom setting value

  1. Click on the Administration tab in WorkFlow Designer.

  2. Click on the custom setting that you want to add a new value, which will open the editor in the main pane as shown in below.

  1. Click on the Setting button at the bottom as show above.

  2. This will add a new row in the table. Capture the Name value, set the Value to the value for the setting and the Type to Value. Click outside of the row to update the table.

  3. On the quick access toolbar, click Save icon or press CTRL+S to save your changes. The asterisk next to the tab tab will disappear. An asterisk indicates that the record has not been saved.

Edit a custom setting value

  1. Click on the Administrator tab in WorkFlow Designer.

  2. Click on the custom setting for which you want to edit a value. This will open the editor in the main pane as shown in below.

  1. Click the row that you want to edit. Make the required changes click outside of the row to update the table.

  2. On the quick access toolbar, click Save icon or press CTRL+S to save your changes. The asterisk next to the tab tab will disappear. An asterisk indicates that the record has not been saved.

Delete a custom setting value

  1. Click on the Administrator tab in WorkFlow Designer.

  2. Click on the custom setting for which you want to delete a value. This will open the editor in the main pane as shown in above.

  3. Select the row that you want to delete as shown below. On the keyboard hit the Delete button. You should then see a confirmation dialog.

  1. On the quick access toolbar, click Save icon or press CTRL+S to save your changes. The asterisk next to the tab tab will disappear. An asterisk indicates that the record has not been saved.
