Process Hierarchy (Remove)

Consultants can create a Process Hierarchy in the Process Explorer area. Only authorized consultants are allowed to change the Process Hierarchy.

Add a Process Node

Fig 1. Adding a process node
  1. Right-click on Process Groups.

  2. Click the New Hierarchy Node as indicated in Fig 1. A new Node will be created.

Provide Node detail

When you right-click the newly created node, the following options will be displayed:

Fig 2. Options for newly created node
  • New Hierarchy Node – used to create another node

  • Edit – used to change the name of the newly created node from New Node to, for example, Human Resources or Plant Administration

  • Add Child – used to add, for example, a process within the Plant Administration Group of Processes

  • Delete – used to delete a node. Note: You can only delete a node if there is no content in that specific node

Considerations

Processes can be dragged and dropped between created Nodes within the Process Repository to change the order within the hierarchy. However, the Process Groups node can be seen as the default container for groups of processes or processes that are not assigned to any Hierarchy Node and cannot be moved or nested.
